Hi, I’m Harriet Cree, a Suffolk-based singer-songwriter creating uplifting, cinematic alt-pop inspired by artists like Chappell Roan, Griff and The 1975. I write honest songs about overthinking, relationships and finding clarity, using music as a way to make sense of life’s messier moments. I live in Melton and work as a studio assistant at Decoy Studios, spending most of my time writing, recording and gigging across Suffolk and beyond. I’ve been performing solo around Suffolk for the last year and a half, and when they’re home from university, I’m joined by my band: Tommy, George, Tom and Obi. They’re all Suffolk lads (and best friends of my younger brother Joe!) who I recruited to help bring my songs to life, and we’ve even ended up writing some together. We rehearse in our parents’ garage and turn those sessions into festival stages and packed local gigs. My debut single, Just A Feeling, was recorded locally at Decoy Studios and releases next month, with more original music set to follow throughout the year. My music has already received multiple BBC radio plays, including BBC Suffolk, BBC Norfolk and BBC London, as well as support from independent local radio stations. I’ve loved throwing myself into the local creative scene, from playing Brighten the Corners Festival to performing at Ipswich Music Day; Suffolk is where I’ve felt most at home creatively. It’s where I learnt piano, where I first started writing songs, where I first performed live and where my music career has truly begun. I’d love the opportunity to represent that local creative spirit at Halo Festival.

Milvain is a the alt-folk project of emerging Suffolk-based singer-songwriter Eleanor Petheram. Influenced by the likes of Sufjan Stevens and Jessica Pratt, she weaves a soothing sound that is both ethereal and earthy. Her debut single ‘Lake’ has established her as one to watch, with praise from BBC Introducing describing her live performance as “absolutely astounding”. In Spring 2025, she was selected as an Airspace musician in residence at Old Jet Art Centre by Jesse Quin (Keane). There she has been developing her first EP for release later this year, a project that expands her otherwordly, tactile sound into chamber-folk territory. Her recent single ‘Pulpit’ features in the film Stinging Nettles (dir. Jerusha West) alongside music by Caroline Polachek, which premiered at LSFF 2026. After supporting Esme Emerson at Old Jet’s recent fundraiser, Milvain now performs live with a 3-piece band.

I’m Ayo, an independent artist from Ipswich creating feel-good Afro-pop and Afro-fusion music. My music blends catchy melodies, uplifting energy and influences from both my Nigerian heritage and life growing up in Suffolk. Over the past year I’ve built a growing audience online, gained support from BBC Introducing, and had my track “Don’t Be Shy” selected as BBC Introducing Track of the Week. I’m passionate about creating music that brings people together and translates into an exciting live performance. As a Suffolk artist, it would mean a lot to perform on the Halo Festival Suffolk Stage and represent the local music scene alongside other talented artists from the region.

The Bungees began playing in Ipswich in 2022, and have always dreamed of playing every single prestigious stage they can in their hometown. Inspired by the chaotic energy of The Libertines, the catchy riffs of Arctic Monkeys, the sing-your heart out anthems of Oasis and Catfish and the Bottlemen and the psychedelic ska of Sticky Fingers, the boys never fail to get a crowd going and create a memorable show. The 4-piece alternative rock outfit have featured at Brighten the Corners festival twice, playing both the Cornhill Stage in 2025 and the Three Wise Monkeys stage in 2026. The boys were also asked by Ipswich Town Football Club to come and perform at the Portman Road Fanzone, playing to a crowd of over 3,500 fans, a dream come true for the band. As well as headline performances at The Church, The Smokehouse, The Music Room, Voodoo Daddy’s in Norwich, the UEA Square, these boys bring a fire, a chaos, a passion that you do not get with contemporary bands.
